The Professor is Road Tripping to Visit Colleges!

A road trip is about as American as Apple Pie. Where else can you find the largest ball of twine, the largest frying pan or even, my favorite, the largest Pez? Hollywood has allowed us to travel along with the Griswolds, Thelma and Louise, and even the gang from American Pie. So it’s a natural fit – The Professor needs to take a road trip!
We are rapidly approaching the time when most college-bound high school students embark on college visitations. The professor is going as well! He’s spending the next year road-tripping across the country visiting a variety of schools. The professor will report back to us about the school, including campus life, education curriculum, and other random bits of mischief that he might encounter along the way. This will give you the chance to experience a few more schools that might not yet be on your radar. Remember, heading out of state can often improve your chances of getting financial aid. Schools want to show geographic diversity, so what better way to learn about diversification than to send the little owl on this trip?
Right now, The Professor is gassing up his car and buying chains to get ready to head over the pass to Whitman College. If he doesn’t get stopped in the pass due to bad road conditions or diverted by wine tasting in wine country (once he’s done driving for the day of course!), he should arrive at Whitman around the end of this month. Check back often to track his experiences. You can also see more of his trip photos on pinterest.
